The invention is related to an infusion apparatus for transferring liquid to a patient, said infusion apparatus comprising at least one liquid pouch, a means attached to said liquid pouch for transferring the liquid from the liquid pouch to a patient (3), a pressurizing means adapted adjacent to the liquid pouch for compressing the liquid pouch, and a pressure control circuit for said pressurizing means.
