The work of the team of researchers was coordinated by Dr Adam Tylicki, who said that “the tests carried out showed that the use of a combination of ketoconazole and oxithiamine made it possible to reduce the fungicidal concentration, in relation to the most resistant strains of Malassezia pachydermatis, by 4 orders of magnitude compared to the compounds used separately”.

El trabajo del equipo de investigadores fue coordinado por el Dr. Adam Tylicki, profesor de la UwB. Según el investigador, «las pruebas realizadas mostraron que el uso de una combinación de ketoconazol y oxitiamina permitió reducir la concentración de fungicida, en relación a las cepas más resistentes de Malassezia pachydermatis, en 4 órdenes de magnitud en comparación con los compuestos utilizados por separado».
