كما اعتمد الاجتماع الاستشاري للأطراف المتعاقدة قرارا يمنع القيام بأية عمليات تخلص أو إغراق للنفايات الصناعية في البحر، اعتبارا من عام 1994، ويمنع كذلك إغراق النفايات ذات الإشعاع المنخفض.

The Consultative Meeting of Contracting Parties to the Convention also adopted a resolution prohibiting from 1994 onwards any disposal and incineration at sea of industrial wastes as well as the dumping of low-level radioactive wastes.
