Ich habe noch niemanden von einem Versuch sprechen gehört, die Einwanderungsgesetze, zumindest vorübergehend, zu ändern: ich denke dabei an die Möglichkeit, den aus den betroffenen Ländern stammenden Einwanderern, die bereits in Europa leben, die Rückkehr in ihre Heimatländer zu gestatten, damit sie die Lage sondieren, ihre Angehörigen suchen und dann in die Union zurückkehren können, ohne den Verlust ihrer Aufenthaltsgenehmigung oder ihres Arbeitsplatzes zu riskieren; und ich denke außerdem an die Möglichkeit, all jenen, die während dieser Katastrophe verletzt wurden, zumindest eine befristete Aufenthaltsberechtigung zu erteilen.

I have not yet heard anybody mention an attempt to change the immigration rules, at least temporarily: I refer to the possibility for immigrants from the affected nations who are already living in Europe to be able to return home, see the situation for themselves, look for their loved ones and then be able to come back to the Union, without running the risk of losing their residence permit or job. I also refer to the possibility of offering residence permits, at least temporary ones, to all those who have been hurt during this tragedy.

Todavía no he oído hablar de un intento de modificar, al menos temporalmente, las legislaciones en materia de inmigración: me refiero a la posibilidad de que los inmigrantes procedentes de las naciones afectadas, que viven ya en Europa, puedan viajar a su país para comprobar la situación, buscar a sus seres queridos y después regresar a la Unión sin arriesgarse a perder el permiso de residencia o el puesto de trabajo; me refiero también a la posibilidad de ofrecer un permiso de residencia, al menos temporal, a todos los que han resultado heridos en esta tragedia.

Ancora non ho sentito parlare di un tentativo di modificare, almeno temporaneamente, le legislazioni sull’immigrazione: mi riferisco alla possibilità per gli immigrati, che vivono già in Europa, provenienti dalle nazioni colpite di poter rimpatriare, verificare la situazione, ricercare i loro cari e poi poter tornare nell’Unione senza rischiare di perdere il permesso di soggiorno o il posto di lavoro; mi riferisco altresì alla possibilità di offrire un permesso di soggiorno, almeno temporaneo, a tutti coloro che durante questa tragedia sono stati feriti.
