একটা বার্তা প্রেরণের জন্য যা কিছু নির্দষ্ট বিষয় তুলে ধরার সময় সচেতনতা অবলম্বনের নিমিত্তে এবং ইতোমধ্যে তা অনেক ব্লগার ভালোভাবে গ্রহণ ও আত্তীভূত করেছে? অথবা যেমন কিছু মানুষ মনে করে এটা একটা মাত্রাতিরিক্ত উদ্দীপনা ছিল। এমন একটা বিচার যার ব্যার্থতা অবর্ণনীয় এবং এমন একটা পদ্ধতি যা তৈরী ও পরিচালিত হয় ক্ষমতার দাপট দেখানোর জন্য এবং তারা সত্য প্রকাশ করতে অস্বীকার করে (অথবা উদাসীন) যেহেতু ইহাই তাদের জন্য বেশ সুবিধাজনক এবং বিখ্যাত পৌরনিক গাঁথার সাথে মিলেমিশে যায় যে কোন সদাশয় রাজত্বের চারিপাশে দারিদ্র ঘিরে থাকে এবং তারা প্রচন্ড বাজে সেবা প্রদান করে থাকে।

Perhaps a combination of internal pressure and international mobilization (some Moroccan blogs in this case playing an intermediary role), a miscalculation (in my view to be excluded given the Fouad Mourtada precedent) on the part of the regime, a message to send and which has already been well-received and assimilated by many bloggers on the sensitivity required when addressing certain issues, or, as some people think, an overzealousness, a justice whose failures are innumerable and a system that has been established and maintained by the powers that be and that they refuse (or are reluctant) to dismantle as it is quite convenient and fits the famous myth of a benevolent monarchy poorly surrounded and badly served.

Forse è stata una combinazione tra la pressione interna e la mobilitazione internazionale (con alcuni blog marocchini nel ruolo di intermediari), una valutazione errata (dal mio punto di vista da escludere, dato il precedente di Fouad Mourtada) da parte del regime, [la necessità di comunicare] un messaggio già ben recepito e assimilato da molti blogger sul livello di sensibilità richiesto nel trattare determinati temi, oppure, come ritengono alcuni, uno zelo eccessivo, una giustizia i cui fallimenti sono innumerevoli e un sistema fondato e mantenuto da poteri del passato e che rifiutano (o sono riluttanti) a smantellarlo in quanto tale perché è assai comodo, e corrisponde perfettamente al mito di una monarchia benevolente mal servita e poco sostenuta [dal popolo].
