فلقد برهن الشعب الإيراني أنه لن يخضع للضغوط، ولا يقبل بالتدخل في شؤونه الداخلية ولا بالإهانات الموجهة ضد مؤسساته المنبثقة عن الدستور الذي ينص على وجوب إدارة شؤون البلد على أساس الرأي العام المعبر عنه بواسطة الانتخابات المباشرة أو غير المباشرة.

The people of Iran have demonstrated that they will not succumb to pressure, nor will they accept interference in their domestic affairs or insults against their institutions emanating from the Constitution, which provides that the affairs of the country must be administered on the basis of public opinion expressed by the means of direct or indirect elections.
