The method for detecting a fusion gene is performed on a sample separated from a living body and involves measuring the expression of one of the genes constituting the fusion gene, that can be present in the living body, in the 5' region which is upstream of the fusion point of the gene and the 3' region which is downstream thereof and comparing the expression in the 5' region with the expression in the 3' region.

Ce procédé, qui fait intervenir un échantillon prélevé sur un organisme vivant, consiste à mesurer l'expression de l'un des gènes qui constituent le gène de fusion pouvant être présent dans l'organisme, ceci dans la région 5' en amont du point de fusion du gène et dans la région 3' en aval de ce point, et à comparer l'expression de la région 5' à celle de la région 3'.

本発明の融合遺伝子の測定方法は、生体から分離された試料に対して行なう方法であって、該生体内に存在し得る融合遺伝子を構成する一方の遺伝子について、遺伝子の融合点よりも上流の5'領域及び下流の3'領域の発現をそれぞれ測定し、5'領域の発現と3'領域の発現とを対比することを含む。
