본 발명은 컴퓨터를 이용하는 대기전력 차단용 전원 자동제어 장치에 관한 것으로서, 컴퓨터 본체의 대기전력까지도 완전히 차단하면서도 작동시에는 간단한 조작으로 컴퓨터 본체까지 연결된 전원콘센트에 쉽게 전원을 공급하여 유지할 수 있게 하는 기술을 제공하고자 한다. 본 발명의 구성은, 주 전원이 오프 상태의 컴퓨터본체에 일순간적인 주 전원이 입력되면 컴퓨터본체 파워스위치의 온오프 여부와 무관하게 컴퓨터본체 내부회로에 전원공급을 유지시키는 제어수단; 상기 제어수단에 의해 컴퓨터본체에 주 전원이 연결된 상태에서 컴퓨터본체로부터 출력되는 DC 전원의 공급 여부에 따라 주 전원을 연결하거나 차단하는 DC릴레이; 상기 컴퓨터본체에 주 전원을 일순간적으로 연결시키기 위한 푸쉬버튼 스위치; 및 상기 컴퓨터본체 및 컴퓨터모니터, 기타 전력이용기기들에 주 전원을 공급하기 위해 마련된 AC 출력부를 구비한다.
