Methods: Two types of studies are proposed: a) a descriptive prospective series of cases, both gender type of study, with surgical indication for open cholecystectomy, which satisfy all of the criteria for inclusion to subarachnoid anesthesia or general anesthesthesia, with patients between 20 and 70 years of age. b) an analysis of cost-effectiveness in which the two anesthetic techniques used in open cholecystectomy will be compared.

Métodos: Se plantean dos tipos de estudios: a) Un estudio descriptivo, prospectivo, tipo serie de casos, de ambos géneros con indicación quirúrgica para colecistectomía abierta, que cumplan todos los criterios de inclusión para anestesia subaracnoidea o anestesia general, con edades entre 20 y 70 años; b) Un análisis de costo efectividad en la cual se compararán las dos técnicas anestésicas utilizadas en colecistectomía abierta.
