본 발명은, 기존 쿼티키보드에서 베트남어에서는 사용하지 않는 f, j, w, z 키가 생략되어 있고, y키는 그 음가가 같은 i키와 함께, p키는 그 밑의 1키와 함께, X키는 V키와 함께 배열되어 있어 맨 윗줄부터 세번째 줄까지 각각 7개, 7개, 5개의 키가 배열되어 있고, 상기 y키, p키, X키는 각각 i키, 1키, V키를 두 번 연속 누름으로써 입력하는 것으로 정의되어 있고, 베트남어 IME규칙상 발음구별기호를 입력하는 문자인 f, j, w, z, r, s, x는 각각 d, k, q, c, r, s, v(x와 같은 키)키로 입력하도록 정의되어 있다.
