Mimo tego kandydatura została odrzucona już w pierwszej turze, a łamana, pełna dramatyzmu angielszczyzna pani burmistrz Madrytu, Any Botelli, wywołała falę śmiechu w kraju. Jej słynny już “Odprężający kubek kawy z mlekiem na Plaza Mayor” przeszedł do historii, a nawet doczekał się wielu przeróbek.
