In order to accomplish the task that we are called to carry out, let us make our own the exhortation of Saint Paul: “Stand, therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the equipment of the Gospel of peace, besides all these, taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one.

Para llevar a cabo la tarea que estamos llamados a cumplir, hagamos nuestra la exhortación de san Pablo: «Estad firmes; ceñid la cintura con la verdad, y revestid la coraza de la justicia; calzad los pies con la prontitud para el evangelio de la paz. Embrazad el escudo de la fe, donde se apagarán las flechas incendiadas del maligno.

Para cumprir a tarefa a que fomos chamados, façamos nossa a exortação do próprio São Paulo: « Mantende-vos, portanto, firmes, tendo cingido os vossos rins com a verdade, vestido a couraça da justiça e calçado os pés com a prontidão para anunciar o Evangelho da paz; acima de tudo, tomai o escudo da fé, com o qual tereis a capacidade de apagar todas as setas incendiadas do maligno.
