There are many difficulties inherent in a mixed marriage, since a certain division is introduced into the living cell of the Church, as the Christian family is rightly called. And in the family itself the fulfillment of the Gospel teachings is more difficult because of diversities in matters of religion, especially with regard to those matters which concern Christian worship and the education of the children.

In realtà sono moltissime le difficoltà inerenti ad un matrimonio misto, in quanto esso introduce una specie di divisione nella cellula vivente della Chiesa, come giustamente è chiamata la famiglia cristiana, e a causa della diversità di vita religiosa rende più difficile nella stessa famiglia l'adempimento fedele dei precetti evangelici, specie per quanto riguarda la partecipazione al culto della Chiesa e l'educazione della prole.
