The republication, in this revised translation, of the foremost novel of Catalan literature, namely Incerta glòria, originally published in 1956, is an opportunity to once again highlight the important role played by the Spanish Civil War in the history of our century, as well as to highlight the work of literary representation that is signified by such an historical event.
