The invention relates to a method for depositing a liquid onto the locking ring of a container by transfer from a roller, the surface of which consists of a tubular knitted fabric having weft-knit or warp-knit stitches having a 2 x 1 rib texture, to a jar or similar glass container, the locking ring of which comprises a glaze coating, adhesion promoter, or heat-sealing primer formed by a deposition method, and to a jar or similar glass container comprising a seal that is heat-sealed to the locking ring.

L'invention a pour objet : un procédé de dépôt d'un liquide sur le buvant d'un récipient par transfert à partir d'un rouleau dont la surface est constituée d'un tricot tubulaire à mailles cueillies ou jetées de contexture côte 2 x 1; un pot ou récipient équivalent en verre, dont le buvant comporte un revêtement de vernis, promoteur d'adhésion ou primaire de thermoscellage formé par un procédé de dépôt; un pot ou récipient équivalent comportant un opercule thermoscellé au buvant.
