Apart from the above Land Ceiling Act, this Department also implements Tenancy Laws, Minimum Wages Act for agricultural labourers, Bhoodan Act and residual work relating to the Agricultural Income Tax. Being pioneer a Scheme in the Country, the Chief Minister's Uzhavar Pathukappu Thittam (CMUPT) for providing social security for agriculturists and persons of allied occupations and their families also implemented by this Department.

மேற்படி விவசாய நிலங்களுக்கான நிலஉச்சவரம்பு சட்டம் தவிர இத்துறையால், குத்தகைச் சட்டங்கள், விவசாயத் தொழிலாளர்களுக்கான குறைந்தபட்ச ஊதியச்சட்டம், பூமிதான சட்டம் மற்றும் வேளாண்மை வருமான வரி தொடர்பான எஞ்சிய பணிகள் இத்துறை மூலம் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
