For the purposes of subsection 26(2) of the Act, to transfer a prohibited weapon, a restricted weapon, a prohibited device, ammunition or prohibited ammunition to Her Majesty in right of Canada or a province, to a police force or to a municipality, a transferor shall obtain a receipt from the person accepting the transfer on behalf of Her Majesty in right of Canada or a province or on behalf of a police force or a municipality identifying the date of the transfer and describing the goods transferred.

Pour l'application du paragraphe 26(2) de la Loi, le cédant est tenu, pour remplir les conditions visant la cession d'une arme prohibée, d'une arme à autorisation restreinte, d'un dispositif prohibé, de munitions ou de munitions prohibées, d'obtenir de la personne qui accepte la cession au nom de Sa Majesté du chef du Canada ou d'une province, d'une force policière ou d'une municipalité un récépissé qui précise la date de la cession et décrit les marchandises cédées.
