Wasserfreie Aldosen lassen sich herstellen, indem man wäßrige Stärkeabbauprodukte mit einem Feststoffanteil von 50 bis 85 Gew.-% mit a) 0,1 bis 5 Gew.-% eines primären Alkohols mit 8 bis 22 Kohlenstoffatomen und b) 0,1 bis 5 Gew.-% wasserfreier Glucose - jeweils bezogen auf Trockensubstanz - versetzt und die Mischung anschließend in einem Turbinentrockner mit rotierenden Einbauten bis auf einen Restwassergehalt von 0,1 bis 2 Gew.-% entwässert.

Water-free aldoses may be prepared by mixing aqueous starch degradation products having 50 to 85 wt % solid matter content with (a) 0,1 to 5 wt % of a primary alcohol having 8 to 22 carbon atoms and (b) 0,1 to 5 wt % water-free glucose, with respect to the dry substance. The mixture is then dehydrated in a turbine dryer with rotating components down to 0,1 to 2 wt % residual water content.

On obtient des aldoses anhydres en mélangeant des produits aqueux de dégradation de l'amidon ayant une teneur en matières solides de 50 à 85 % en poids avec a) 0,1 à 5 % en poids d'un alcool primaire ayant 8 à 22 atomes de carbone et b) 0,1 à 5 % en poids de glucose anhydre - à chaque fois par rapport à la matière sèche - et en déshydratant ensuite le mélange dans un sécheur à turbine comportant des éléments rotatifs, jusqu'à ce que la teneur en eau résiduelle soit de l'ordre de 0,1 à 2 % en poids.
