The method for driving the display device, according to the present invention, can comprise the steps of: displaying, on a display unit, a first input menu including a plurality of keys which are arranged in a first direction; changing a highlighted key from the plurality of keys in the first direction on the first input menu when a movement command corresponding to the first direction is inputted; selecting the highlighted key on the first input menu when a movement command corresponding to a second direction that intersects the first direction is inputted; and executing a command corresponding to the selected key or displaying an image corresponding to the selected key on the display unit.
