وإذا ما زُحزحت الجثة بُعيد حدوث هذه العملية فإن لون الدم سوف يتغيّر مع وضعيتها الجديدة، ولكن بعد فترة من الزمن تتحول الزرقة الرمية إلى بقع دائمة على الجلد (يصبح اسمها حينئذ زرقة رمية ”ثابتة“).
