Emphasises the need to strengthen cooperation with these organisations in order to prevent smuggling of migrants and human trafficking by enhancing training, capacity-building actions and information-sharing mechanisms, including an evaluation of the impact of the Immigration Liaison Officers networks and the cooperation they establish with third countries by promoting cooperation on criminal matters, and by encouraging ratification of the Palermo Protocols in this field in order to promote cooperation in criminal justice, identify suspects and assist with criminal investigations in partnership with national authorities;

66.Destaca la necesidad de reforzar la cooperación con esas organizaciones para prevenir el tráfico de migrantes y la trata de personas, reforzando la formación, las acciones de creación de capacidades y los mecanismos de intercambio de información, por ejemplo mediante una evaluación del impacto de las redes de funcionarios de enlace en el ámbito de la inmigración y de la cooperación que establecen con los terceros países, favoreciendo la cooperación penal y alentando la ratificación de los Protocolos de Palermo en este ámbito, con el fin de favorecer la cooperación penal, identificar a los sospechosos y prestar asistencia en las investigaciones judiciales en colaboración con las autoridades nacionales;
