Die Befunde, zu denen der Verlauf der Nüchternblutzuckerkurven eine Ergänzung bildet, scheinen dafür zu sprechen, daß pränatale Dystrophie, Zweittagshypoglykämie und angeborener transitorischer Diabetes mellitus quantitativ verschiedene Manifestationen eines Geschehens, eines fetalen Glucosemangelsyndroms, sind.

These findings, supplemented by the behavior of the fasting blood sugar curves, support the assumption that the two day hypoglycamia in prenatal dystrophy and the congenital transitory diabetes mellitus are quantitatively different manifestations of a foetal deficient glucose syndrome.
