In Swansea, there was a 32 per cent increase in the number of landlord possession claims issued in the first quarter of 2008, compared with the same period in 2007. Repossession affects not only parents, in terms of physical and mental ill health, but also children, who experience feelings of vulnerability and insecurity, and are faced with changing schools and losing friends.
