He would like the delegation to inform the members of the Committee whether the allegations published on 30 August 2006 by the Tico Times in an article concerning the abolition of the National Commission on Indigenous Affairs (CONAI) and the Integral Development Association in accordance with the law on the development of indigenous peoples were well-founded and, if so, if they could offer some explanation.
