The results show that there are no single models of teacher education in the programs because all syllabi are eclectic. Also, it is evident that the workshop model (Smagorinsky & Whitings, 1994), which combines theory with subsequent practice is the most commonly found, followed by the humanistic, behaviorist and cognitive models.

Los resultados mostraron que la tendencia predominante dentro de los programas es el eclecticismo; que el modelo taller, que combina teoría y la subsiguiente práctica, es el más favorecido, seguido por los modelos humanista, conductista y cognitivista.
