واستجابة للطلب الذي وجهه الأمين التنفيذي للمؤتمر إلى الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، قامت شعبة شؤون المحيطات وقانون البحار، بالاشتراك مع إدارة الشؤون الاقتصادية والاجتماعية بالأمانة العامة للأمم المتحدة، بإنشاء مشروع تعاون تقني وصندوق استئماني بعنوان “تقديم المساعدة إلى الدول المشاركة في مؤتمر تعيين الحدود البحرية في البحر الكاريبي”.

In response to the request communicated to the Secretary-General of the United Nations by the Executive Secretary of the Conference, the Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea, jointly with the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations Secretariat, established a technical cooperation project and trust fund entitled Assistance to States Participants in the Conference on Maritime Delimitation in the Caribbean.

En respuesta a la solicitud comunicada al Secretario General por el Secretario Ejecutivo de la Conferencia, la División de Asuntos Oceánicos y del Derecho del Mar, junto con el Departamento de Asuntos Económicos y Sociales de la Secretaría de las Naciones Unidas, estableció un proyecto de cooperación técnica y fondos fiduciarios titulado: Asistencia a los Estados participantes en la Conferencia sobre Delimitación Marítima en el Caribe.

En réponse à la demande que le Secrétaire exécutif de la Conférence a adressée au Secrétaire général de l’ONU, la Division des affaires maritimes et du droit de la mer a, avec le Département des affaires économiques et sociales du Secrétariat de l’ONU, lancé un projet de coopération technique et ouvert un fonds d’affectation spéciale intitulés « Assistance aux États participant à la Conférence sur la délimitation des frontières maritimes dans les Caraïbes ».

В соответствии с просьбой, с которой Исполнительный секретарь Конференции обратился к Генеральному секретарю Организации Объединенных Наций, Отдел по вопросам океана и морскому праву совместно с Департаментом по экономическим и социальным вопросам Секретариата Организации Объединенных Наций учредил проект технического сотрудничества и целевой фонд под названием «Помощь государствам — участникам Конференции по разграничению морских пространств в Карибском бассейне».
