The rice bread is a snack made with rice and curd which is currently carrying a special safeguard plan before the Ministry of Culture of Colombia and also through the Association of bread producers and marketers of Rice Meta ( ASPAMET) with the help of the Chamber of Commerce of Villavicencio, are promoting the product to aspire to have a designation of origin before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce of Colombia, rice bread is an important link in the cuisine of Villavicencio, currently is the municipality where this food is sold the most locally, nationally and internationally, the most traditional bakery and former rice bread producer is Rosquipan since 1990.

Pan de arroz El pan de arroz es un snack hecho a base de arroz y cuajada el cual actualmente se está llevando un plan especial de salvaguardia ante el Ministerio de Cultura de Colombia y también por medio de la Asociación de productores y comercializadores de pan de Arroz del Meta (ASPAMET) con la ayuda de la Cámara de Comercio de Villavicencio, están impulsando el producto para aspirar a tener denominación de origen ante la Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio de Colombia, el pan de arroz es un eslabón importante en la gastronomía de Villavicencio, actualmente es el municipio en donde más se comercializa este alimento a nivel local, nacional e internacional, la panadería más tradicional y antigua productora de pan de arroz es Rosquipan desde 1990.
