As part of this multi-disciplinary, translational research project, the Fellow will investigate PTSD patients for potential alterations in amino acid neurotransmitters, and biochemical neuronal and glial markers, using magnetic resonance spectroscopy; regional brain volumes, using magnetic resonance imaging; and white matter structural connections, using Diffusion Tensor Imaging.

Dans le cadre de ce projet multidisciplinaire de recherche translationnelle, le candidat examinera des patients souffrant de SPT afin de déterminer d'éventuelles modifications dans les neurotransmetteurs aminoacides et les marqueurs biochimiques neuronaux et gliaux, par spectroscopie par résonance magnétique; les volumes régionaux cérébraux, par imagerie par résonance magnétique; les connexions structurales de la substance blanche, par imagerie du tenseur de diffusion.
