Eine Drehmomentbetrachtung liefert neue, bisher unbekannte asynchrone Sattelbildungen und zeigt, daß die Forderung der Netzkommandoanlagen nach kleinen Netzoberströmen mit der Forderung nach kleinen parasitären synchronen Drehmomenten identisch ist.

Torque considerations bring to light previously undiscovered asynchronous dips in the speed — torque curve and show that reduction of harmonic line currents, to satisfy ripple control requirements, is equivalent to the reduction unfavourable synchronous crawling torques.
