In 2006, 8 United Nations Volunteers, 17 consultants and 45 service-contract holders contacted the Joint Ombudsperson in connection with, inter alia, (a) interpersonal problems; (b) abuse of authority and violations of standards of conduct; (c) performance disagreements; (d) unfair termination; (e) working conditions; and (f) entitlement-related issues.
