The present invention relates to fabric for an airbag and a method for manufacturing same; and more particularly, to polyester fabric, a method for manufacturing same, and an automotive airbag, wherein the polyester fabric includes polyester yarn having high tenacity, high elongation and low modulus, and thus having excellent toughness and energy-absorbing capacity even after a prolonged heat treatment under highly humid conditions.

La présente invention concerne un tissu pour airbag et un procédé de fabrication de celui-ci ; et, plus précisément, un tissu en polyester, son procédé de fabrication et un airbag d'automobile, le tissu en polyester comprenant un fil polyester présentant une résistance à la rupture élevée, un coefficient d'allongement important et un faible module, ce qui lui confère une remarquable résistance et une grande capacité d'absorption de l'énergie, même après un traitement thermique prolongé dans des conditions d'humidité élevée.
