On décrit un système de transport hélicoïdal dans une installation de réfrigération, où de l'air froid provenant d'un évaporateur (20) est propulsé vers le haut par un ventilateur à travers les spires d'un transporteur hélicoïdal, un courant primaire d'air froid (26) est dirigé vers le haut à travers les spires du transporteur, et un deuxième courant d'air froid (28) est envoyé sur la dernière spire du transporteur.
