The great majority of the familiar-sounding tracks represent Sophia's "strong mid-range" without being particularly exceptional by themselves. The sole clear exception to this is Machine, a song sounding like a softer version of the old masterpiece Watching It Drown and definitely one of the best tracks of Sophia's career thus far. The true gems, however, are the two tracks written by both gentlemen together, the very slow Severed built with a minimal soundscape eventually supported by a muffled drumming, and Humanicide, which fuses a hypnotic whole out of choral clips, misanthropic lyrics and an incredibly potent drumming sound.

Tutun kuuloisista kappaleista selkeä enemmistö edustaa Sophian "vahvaa keskisarjaa" olematta mitenkään erityisiä, ainoana selvänä poikkeuksena erinomaisen Watching It Drown:in kevennetyltä versiolta kuulostava Machine joka kiilaa suoraan yhtyeen tuotannon kärkikastiin. Albumin kaksi todellista helmeä ovat kuitenkin herrojen yhteisluomukset, hidas ja vasta lopussa vaimeiden rumpujen tukema Severed ja aivan käsittämättömän tehokkaasti rummutuksen, kuorotaustan ja misantrooppiset lyriikat hypnoottiseksi kokonaispauhuksi yhdistävä Humanicide.
