At 0330 hours, an armed terrorist group stationed at the Fuqaha' al-Salihin school near the Majid mosque in the Maydan neighbourhood, together with snipers on the roofs of buildings in the said district, attacked the outer city police station from the west and east, using machine guns, rifles and sniper rifles.
