The Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations (Vienna) presents its compliments to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and, in accordance with article IV of the Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space (General Assembly resolution 3235 (XXIX), annex), has the honour to transmit information concerning Japanese satellite WINDS (international designator 2008-007A) and two components of the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) “Kibo” (designators 2008-009-J1 and 2008-027-J1) (see annex).

La Misión Permanente del Japón ante las Naciones Unidas (Viena) saluda atentamente al Secretario General de las Naciones Unidas y, de conformidad con el artículo IV del Convenio sobre el registro de objetos lanzados al espacio ultraterrestre (resolución 3235 (XXIX) de la Asamblea General, anexo), tiene el honor de transmitir información sobre el satélite japonés WINDS (designación internacional 2008-007A) y dos componentes del Módulo experimental japonés (JEM) “Kibo” (designación internacional 2008-009-J1 y 2008-027-J1) (véase el anexo).

La Mission permanente du Japon auprès de l’Organisation des Nations Unies à Vienne présente ses compliments au Secrétaire général de l’Organisation des Nations Unies et, conformément à l’article IV de la Convention sur l’immatriculation des objets lancés dans l’espace extra-atmosphérique (résolution 3235 (XXIX) de l’Assemblée générale, annexe), a l’honneur de lui communiquer des renseignements concernant le satellite japonais WINDS (indicatif international 2008-007A) et de deux composantes du Module japonais d’expériences spatiales (JEM) “Kibo” (indicatifs 2008-009-J1 et 2008-027-J1) (voir annexe).
