Consequently, concepts regarding environmental and health safety, made on the basis of risk characterization and assessment as of the estimated “normal conditions recommended for its use” in the country of the North, have no scientific ground in our environment since in Colombia the glyphosate being applied to illicit crops and all of the surrounding areas, is done by aerial means and with concentrations which are up to 26 times higher. That which is further aggravated by the addition of the Cosmo-Flux 411F surfactant, which can multiply the biological effect of Roundup by up to four times.

Por tanto, los conceptos sobre seguridad para el ambiente y la salud, emitidos con base en la caracterización y evaluación de riesgos, calculados para las “condiciones normales recomendadas de uso” en el país del norte, no tienen base científica en nuestro medio, porque en Colombia se está aplicando el glifosato sobre los cultivos ilícitos y todo lo que lo circunde, por vía aérea y en una concentración hasta 26 veces mayor, con el agravante de que se está adicionando el surfactante Cosmo-Flux 411F, el cual puede hasta cuadruplicar la acción biológica del Roundup.
