Such release is to be reduced to writing and signed by the person to be released, that s/he will not attempt or do anything to leave Malta without the authority of the investigating officer under whose authority s/he was arrested and that s/he will attend at such police station at such time as the custody officer may appoint and / or that s/he will attend before the Court of Magistrates at such time and such place as the court may appoint.

La persona que va a quedar en libertad deberá firmar una declaración escrita en la que manifieste que no tratará ni hará nada para abandonar Malta sin autorización del funcionario investigador bajo cuya autoridad se llevó a cabo la detención, que se presentará en ese cuartel de policía con la periodicidad que indique el funcionario jefe y/o comparecerá ante el Tribunal de Magistrados en el momento y lugar que pueda indicar el tribunal.

La mise en liberté doit être consignée par écrit; elle doit être signée par l’intéressé, qui s’engage à ne rien faire pour quitter Malte sans l’autorisation du responsable de l’enquête, et à se présenter au commissariat au jour et à l’heure fixés par le fonctionnaire de police, ou au tribunal d’instance au moment et dans le lieu spécifiés par lui.
