Indeed those same people who feel no connection with the political movements or the political parties in their own countries are very likely to turn up at demonstrations about anti-globalisation, about reclaiming the streets or eradication of poverty and so on. Surely, through the Council and the good offices of the minister himself, there must be some mechanism whereby that energy and that idealism can be harnessed for the good of all of society and not just for the good of the few.

En effet, ces personnes qui ne ressentent aucune affinité avec les mouvements ou les partis politiques de leur pays ont toutes les chances de se retrouver dans des manifestations organisées pour s'opposer à la mondialisation, pour réinvestir les rues ou pour exiger l'éradication de la pauvreté, etc. Il doit sûrement y avoir moyen, par le biais du Conseil et des bons offices du ministre lui-même, de mettre au point certains mécanismes permettant de canaliser cette énergie ou cet idéalisme pour le bien de toute la société, et pas seulement de quelques-uns.

Det är faktiskt samma personer som inte känner någon samhörighet med de politiska rörelserna eller de politiska partierna i sina egna länder, som med hög sannolikhet kan tänkas delta i demonstrationer mot globalisering, om ett återkrävande av gatorna eller om utrotning av fattigdomen, osv. Det måste väl genom rådets och ministerns förmedling finnas någon mekanism genom vilken denna energi och denna idealism kan utnyttjas för samhällets bästa, och inte bara för att tillfredsställa ett fåtal.
