Thermally sensitive record material (thermal paper) using 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4-methylpentane as co-reactant with conventional electron donating chromogenic compounds and a combination of a long chain fatty acid amide melting between 80 and 140°C and a sensitizer melting between 60 and 120°C and selected from diaryl ethers, acetoacetic anilides, phenyl hydroxynaphthoates, aryl or aralkyl substituted biphenyls and diaryl carbonates have high thermal sensitivity and good background whiteness.

Un matériau d'enregistrement thermiquement sensible (papier thermique), utilisant du 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphényl)-4-méthylpentane comme coréactif avec des composés chromogéniques donneurs d'électrons classiques et une combinaison d'un amide d'acide gras à longue chaîne fondant entre 80 et 140°C ainsi qu'un sensibilisateur fondant entre 60 et 120°C, sélectionné parmi des éthers de diaryle, des anilides acétoacétiques, des phényles et des carbonates de diaryle à substitution aryle ou aralkyle présentent une bonne sensibilité thermique et une bonne blancheur de fond.
