The present invention provides a lithium secondary battery characterized by including: an anode including lithium iron phosphate and layered lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt composite oxide as an anode active material; and a cathode including a cathode active material having a potential difference equal to or greater than 3.10V with reference to the lithium iron phosphate at the point of 50% state of charge (SOC) afforded by the entire lithium iron phosphate.
