En relación a los movimientos que se producen entre la C.A. de Euskadi y el resto de Comunidades Autónomas, el año 2012 arroja un saldo positivo de 5.266 personas, es decir, se registran más inmigraciones a la C.A. de Euskadi desde otras Comunidades que emigraciones hacia ellas, y es el primer año, desde que Eustat elabora esta estadística, en que este saldo supera al que se produce con los países extranjeros, que fue de 4.683 personas, debido a que el número de personas cuyo origen es el extranjero ha descendido un 46% respecto al año 2011.
