وقد أفضى العدوان المستمر الذي تقوم به أرمينيا على أذربيجان إلى الاستيلاء على جزء كبير من أراضي أذربيجان، بما في ذلك منطقة ناغورنو - كاراباخ والمقاطعات السبع المجاورة لها وبعض المناطق المفصولة عن أذربيجان، وأودى بحياة عشرات الآلاف من الناس، ودمّر مدنا وأسباب معيشة، وأدى إلى الطرد القسري لأكثر من مليون أذربيجاني من ديارهم وممتلكاتهم.

The continuing aggression by Armenia against Azerbaijan has led to the seizure of a significant part of Azerbaijan’s territory, including the Nagorno-Karabakh region, the seven adjacent districts and some exclaves, claimed the lives of tens of thousands of people, ruined cities and livelihoods and resulted in the forcible expulsion of more than 1 million Azerbaijanis from their homes and properties.

В результате продолжающейся агрессии Армении против Азербайджана была захвачена значительная часть территории Азербайджана, включая Нагорно-Карабахский регион, семь прилегающих к нему районов и некоторые эксклавы, погибли десятки тысяч людей, были разрушены города и уничтожены источники средств к существованию, а более 1 миллиона азербайджанцев были вынуждены покинуть свои дома и имущество.
