Significant Moments - It was exciting these days setting foot on the various special places of the “holy land": Plancy, our Founder's birthplace and death place; the seminary where he, as seminarian, had spent many years, the Visitation Monastery (with the tomb of the Good Mother; the place of the Our Lord's apparition, the chapel; the ill-fated canal), the crypt at the Oblate Sister's Mother House, where the remains of Santa Leonie Aviat and Father Brisson are buried; the oblate museum; the magnificent cathedral of Troyes, where Jean-Marie Simon was consecrated the first Oblate bishop in 1898; the so-called "Tuilerie" (a former pottery factory, which Father Brisson acquired as a place of rest and retreat for both the Oblates and Oblate Sisters).

Het was in deze dagen telkens weer een ontroerend moment, de diverse bijzondere plekken te betreden van dit “heilige land”: Plancy, het dorp waar onze Stichter geboren werd en stierf; het seminarie waar hij enkele jaren als student geleefd heeft; het Visi-tatieklooster (met het graf van de Goede Moeder, de plaats waar Onze Heer verschenen is, de kapel, het kanaal); de crypte waar zich de sterfelijke resten bevinden van de H. Léonie Aviat en van pater Brisson; het museum; de wondermooie kathedraal van Troyes, waar Jean-Marie Simon in 1898 als eerste Oblaat tot bisschop werd gewijd; de zogenaamde Tuilerie (de plek van een oude tegelbakkerij, die pater Brisson kocht om voor zijn Oblatinnen en Oblaten een oord van ontspanning en bezinning te hebben), en nog veel meer.
