So long as the thinkers behind the radical nationalist movement are mere satellites of external stimuli and have nothing to say in the world of ideas, there will continue to be recourse to tradition and force. Unfortunately there is no sign of efforts being made along these lines, which is a real shame, because it is there that the ability to overcome both extremes of the conflict is to be found.
