Das Projekt fußt auf 8 Jahren meiner vorangegangenen Forschung über die Gattung Hypoplectrus und schließt zahlreiche internationale Kollaborationen mit ein. Das Projekt ist Teil eines umfassenden Forschungsprogrammes, welches die Genomik von Hypoplectrus mit ökologischen und verhaltensbiologischen Ursachen reproduktiver Isolation in Beziehung setzt.

This project builds on eight years of previous work on the hamlets, involves six international and national collaborators, and is part of a larger research program aimed at integrating Hypoplectrus genomics with the ecological and behavioural aspects of reproductive isolation.
