The Secretariat-General sent the resolutions of the Council of the League of Arab States at summit level and ministerial level pertaining to this subject to the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf, the Arab Maghreb Union and the Arab Inter-parliamentary Union requesting these sisterly groupings and federations to affirm the absolute right of the United Arab Emirates to and sovereignty over the three islands.

La Secretaría General remitió las resoluciones del Consejo de la Liga de los Estados Árabes a nivel de conferencia en la Cumbre y a nivel ministerial referentes a este tema al Consejo de Cooperación de los Estados Árabes del Golfo, la Unión del Magreb Árabe y la Unión Interparlamentaria Árabe, pidiendo que esas organizaciones y federaciones hermanas reafirmaran el derecho absoluto de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos respecto de las tres islas y su soberanía en ellas.
