واستضاف اليابان مؤخرا اجتماعا حول تشجيع الاستثمار الدولي المسؤول في الزراعة كان إيذانا بالتقدم نحو وضع إطار استجابة منسقة لذلك التحدي ومن ثم يتطلع إلى المضي قدما في متابعة هذه القضايا في مؤتمر القمة العالمي المقبل المعني بالأمن الغذائي.

It had recently hosted a meeting on promoting responsible international investment in agriculture which had marked the first step towards framing a coordinated response to that challenge and accordingly looked forward to going further into those issues at the forthcoming World Summit on Food Security.
