On modifie un alliage eutectique de Sn-Ag-Cu au moyen d'un ou de plusieurs apports d'alliages de niveau bas et de faible coût, afin d'augmenter la stabilité de la microstructure à des températures élevées, ainsi que sa résistance à la fatigue thermomécanique, sans en diminuer la capacité de soudure.
