PB: Racism and segregation are two subjects I have often covered. In a general way, it seems that racism today arises from fear and worry when faced with someone different than oneself, and who one can't understand. Returning to the subject of my book ‘Plus Fort que la Haine’, one might say that the blows just keep falling upon the head of young Doug, the hero of the story, who will have to learn to control his revolt, to tame and to channel it.

De forma general, parece que hoy en día el racismo surge del miedo y la preocupación cuando nos encontramos con alguien diferente a nosotros y a quien no podemos entender. Volviendo al tema de mi libro Más fuerte que el odio, se diría que los golpes siguen cayendo sobre el joven Doug, el héroe de la historia, quien tendrá que aprender a controlar su rebeldía, a dominarla y a canalizarla.
