وأشار إلى التقرير الذي أعدته الأمانة بشأن الاقتصاد العالمي للسلع الأساسية (TD/B/COM.1/27) فوافق من حيث المبدأ على أن المشاكل القائمة في قطاع السلع الأساسية ككل ما زالت مستمرة بل إنها قد أصبحت أشد خطورة مع مرور الوقت.

Referring to the report by the secretariat on the world commodity economy (TD/B/COM.1/27), he agreed in principle that the problems in the commodity sector as a whole continued to persist and had in fact become more serious over time.
